The Big Red Wine Book 2010/11 has just been released and our Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 gets a great review!
In the book Campbell Mattinson and Gary Walsh write about the best reds from the 4000+ they’ve tasted, and this is what they had to say about ours:
Rosabrook Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
In great years like 2007, ripeness meets elegance in a beautiful way. Get some lamb in the oven and crack a bottle of this. It’s all about balance and harmony and flavour. In short, it’s a lovely wine to drink. It has flavours of blackcurrant and leaf matter, gravel and coffee. Some chewy tannin – but not too much. Our kind of wine. Drink 2010-2014. Score 93
We also got a mention in the ‘Best Cabernet Sauvignon’ category in the book too!
