Rosabrook has been given the royal stamp of approval after being selected for the ‘Dinner in Honour of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall during their recent visit to Australia. The dinner took place on Friday the 9th of November at Admiralty House, Sydney. There was an eclectic mix of influential Australians invited to the dinner including Corporal Daniel Keighran, who was recently awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in Afghanistan and actor Toni Collette.
The Governor General hand-picked a guest list she believed exhibited a snapshot of Australia’s future in the form of young people from a variety of fields, who are achieving outcomes to better the country. The dinner featured a select list of iconic Australian wines paired with classic Modern Australian style menu. The Rosabrook Chardonnay 2009 was paired with the entrée of demitasse of carrot and orange soup.
We are ecstatic that our Rosabrook Chardonnay was chosen for this prestigious Royal dinner and feel honoured that The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were served the Rosabrook Chardonnay 2009 at this special dinner. Not only is this a great accolade for Rosabrook, it is wonderful recognition for Margaret River Chardonnay.
