The West Australia Wine Guide 2015

The West Australian Wine Guide 2015 is out now! Read Ray Jordan’s review of two of our single vineyard wines below:

Rosabrook Single Vineyard Estate Tempranillo 2012 – typically rustic and earthy expression of this Spanish variety. There’s good structure with robust tannins and plenty of vanillin oak to balance. Deep and rich with a poised long finish. Nice expression of this variety that will benefit from a little more cellaring.¬† Score: 91/100

Rosabrook Single Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 – elegant and very stylish cabernet off these old low-yielding vines south of Margaret River. Powerful blackcurrant and meaty black olive nuances on the nose with a lightly cedary influence. The palate displays a deep intensity, fine firm tannins and clever oak treatment. It’s precisely balanced with a sustained finish. ¬†Score: 93/100
