2013 Single Vineyard Estate Chardonnay
Hand selected fruit and low extract winemaking make this a wine with clear lifted fruit and a fine delicate palate. Complex and savoury aromas lead to a tight crisp persistent melon and cashed rich palate. The finish is very persistent and creamy.
A warm start to the vintage was moderated by later rains that cooled the region considerably and saw a vintage of fine and consistent quality fruit.
Drawn from our most southern Margaret River source of Chardonnay so that we could accentuate pure fruit flavours.
Hand-picked fruit was chilled overnight, bunch pressed and a low extract juice was fermented 100 % in a mixture of oak ages and forests. After eight months in maturation, the wine was clarified and held cold until bottling.
