Wines
2015 Cabernet Merlot
Makers Notes
Bright purple/red. Bright and ripe Cabernet fruit aromas with some fine oak background. Medium to fuller bodied and complex at the first instance, with fine tannins and chocolate contribution from Merlot. This wine has persistent fine tannins and savoury fruit sweetness to resolve the finish.
Vintage Notes
A year in Margaret River for fine rich balanced reds, quite fleshy and with approachable tannins. A warm stretch during the growing season finished reds off with generous forward fruit and soft appealing structures.
Vineyard Notes
Our own northern Margaret River vineyards that deliver rich and vibrant varietal flavours.
Vinification Notes
Selectively harvested and fermented at moderate temperatures. Plunged daily and run off to finish ferment with oak. Matured in a blend of oak and stainless steel rotation.

"This represents superb value for money, with luscious plum, pastille, dark cherry and currant notes popping across a streamlined palate check by impeccably tuned grape and oak tannins." - James Halliday Wine Companion
