Wines
2014 Single Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Makers Notes
Deeply coloured, with the classic bouquet of briar Cabernet and unmistakably Margaret River this wine has a rich and structured palate of some dimension and length.
Vintage Notes
One of the better years in the region for red wines.
Vineyard Notes
Located in north of the Margaret River region our vineyard was planted almost 25 years ago to a lyre trellis, obligating hand picking. Low yielding.
Vinification Notes
Hand-picked grapes were fermented in a single open fermenter and plunged daily. On dryness the wine was run to new barrels. Racked several times, it was finally bottled after fifteen months in oak and laid down for further maturation until release.

"A sturdy Cabernet, this has Margaret Rivers signature pastille, current and mint aromas hurtling across the aromatic spectrum, before reverberating on the long, detailed finish. The oak, while generous, feels as a mere adjunct to the wine's noble richness, intensity of flavour and penetrative vinosity." - James Halliday Wine Companion 2018.
