2020 Rosabrook Shiraz

Tasting Notes

WINEMAKER’S NOTE: Bright, vibrant purple red with a medium intensity. Lifted spicy Shiraz fruit with a nice touch of oak. Palate is medium weight with bright spicy fruit and medium weight tannins to finish.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS: 2020 was a perfect vintage for red wines. The maturation period through the growing season saw the classic Margaret River weather patterns giving rise to good canopy development and soil moisture levels with good maturities across all varieties

VINEYARDS: Sourced exclusively from our vineyards in the northern Margaret River where gravelly soils and warmer conditions than average for the region combine to impart rich and vibrant varietal flavours on our reds.

VINIFICATION: Fermented for nine days on skins and then pressed to oak where fermentation was completed. The wine was rotated through 20% new oak for twelve months before a light fining and bottling.
