2014 Rosabrook Single Vineyard Tempranillo
Tasting Notes
WINEMAKER’S NOTE: Deep purple in colour this wine is lifted and spicy. The palate does not hold back, deep, spicy potpourri and abundant tannins will see many years reward.
VINTAGE CONDITIONS: A warm start to the vintage was moderated by later rains that cooled the region considerably and saw a vintage of fine and consistent quality fruit.
VINEYARDS: Drawn from our best site in the very north of Margaret River, consisting of fine gravels over ironstone and deeper schists. Lyre trellis and hand-picked, thirty year old vines
VINIFICATION: Conventionally fermented and transferred to about 10% new American Oak and matured for twelve months.
